Town and Country Foods believes that feeding families and changing the destinies of children around the world are the two most important things they can do. To promote that cause, they have joined forces with CASA and World Orphans to change the lives of abused, orphaned, and neglected children. By telling friends and family about the T & C Home Food System, each customer has the opportunity to reduce the cost of their food, and Town and Country Foods will make a donation to each of the organizations.
CASA
The Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program, created in 1977, trains volunteers to speak up for abused, neglected or abandoned children in the court. CASA volunteers are appointed to gather information in child abuse and neglect cases and speak to the court on behalf of the needs of the children. Town and Country Foods has become a significant supporter of the CASA program.
World Orphans
World Orphans is a non-profit agency committed to the rescue of millions of orphaned and abandoned children through the construction of children's homes in the developing world. Town and Country Foods has helped to fund several orphan homes in Uganda and Kenya and continues to add to that total every day.
Project Funding Raising
Imagine raising funds for your project or initiative without asking for a donation. Town and Country Foods believes that supporting local community interest projects through their business efforts provides a sustainable way for community groups to fund their initiatives. For more information on how Town and Country Foods can help fund your project, call 1-800-651-3663 ext. 555.

Caring about the environment is another important component of the T & C Home Food System. Our system has the potential to remove CO2 from the atmosphere, reduce the amount of gasoline used, and reduce packaging waste.
For example, if 10,000 customers reduced the number of times they went to the grocery store by 2 trips using the T & C Home Food System, they would reduce the number of trips to the grocery store by 240,000. If each trip was approximately 10 miles at an average of 20 miles per gallon of gasoline, 120,000 gallons of gasoline would be saved. If each gallon of gasoline emits approximately 8.78 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere, the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere would be reduced by approximately 1,053,600 kg.
The T & C Home Food System also decreases waste by reducing product packaging. Instead of using styrofoam containers as well as plastic to package meat products, Town and Country Foods uses just plastic. This means that if 10,000 customers purchased 150 pounds of meat in a year through the T & C Home Food system, packaging waste would be reduced by approximately 1.5 million styrofoam containers.
What this adds up to is better way to care for the environment and a better way to feed your family.
